Lors de sa sortie en single, le titre était accompagné de la mention suivante : « Dedicated with love to Diana Ross ». La version qui figure dans le clip-vidéo n’est hélas jamais sorti en cd.
Par contre une grosse surprise attendait les fans lors de la sortie du single puisque celui-ci proposa alors le titre inédit Come Together, la reprise de la chanson des Beatles présente dans le film « Moonwalker ». Come Together que les fans du Roi de la Pop retrouveront sur l’album HIStory.

Dans le double album HIStory, Remember The Time figure sur le Disc I HIStory Begins.
